Starting off with a beautiful morning and a sea of puppies everywhere.
I have to draw your attention to the beautiful Barney boy Boxer. Barney has come to us for some socialisation and training whilst in our care. He hasn’t had any and whilst he still has some little very normal behaviour challenges we’re working through, this little guy is something extra special. And I’m definitely not talking about the fact he wears diapers! It’s his personality and soft heart. Barney is a sweetheart. His favourite buddy is Cutie Pie, they play all day together. Like I mean all day. They play, they wrestle, they cuddle. I could just watch them all day. AND look at Barney with the puppies. There is practically 6 or so on him at once and he just lies down and takes it whilst they hang off his chops. You can’t get any more tolerant than that. Barney boy you’re a special boy.
We received a special delivery from our really kind neighbours in the valley, you know the talented ones that make our cakes (Uncle Luke’s dog one). It was a box of lollies and donuts for movie time because they knew we were in isolation. Well the girls were beside themselves with excitement and very much enjoyed the treat thank you very much Rachel and Mikayla!
We went for a bush walk with Shadow and brought her some pizza as a treat. Shadow had a lovely time. Look at how much she loves the family life and the children. She is super sweet and soft and considerate of them. She would love a home with some little ones to love on. Each day she progresses with her training and each day we see her relax and show us more of her inner beauty. Shadow is one very special girl that is going to love someone and their family with everything she has.
After lunch Tilly had her solo cuddle time. She’s got to have some each day, usually it’s when putting your shoes on but any time Luke gets down on the ground inside is Tilly time. With a few excited barks, Freddo and Bandit join in for some floor cuddles too.
Thanks everyone for the caring messages for our family. We are grateful to report that everyone is doing well. Elle is just feeling quite fatigued.
