Mews and Nips: Easter Lilies Are Deadly to Cats

Good To Know

Our lead feature of this week’s round up is my annual warning about Easter Lilies. Ever year, I’m surprised how many cat parents still don’t know how deadly these flowers can be to cats. Just one small bite of a flower, leaf, stem or pollen of this plant, or even drinking from the water they’re kept in, can cause gastric distress, and, more importantly, if left untreated, can lead to fatal kidney failure. For more information, please read my full post here and please spread the word!

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, we cautioned you against using air fresheners around cats, on Tuesday, we reviewed the Okaysou Apollo 718 air purifier, on Wednesday, we celebrated Allegra’s 12th adoption anniversary, and on Friday, we featured the super cute pretty in pink wallet from Triple T Studios. And don’t forget to enter our giveaway to win an Assisi Loop!

I can’t stop watching today’s video – that has to be the cutest stretch ever. Enjoy!

Have a great weekend!
