If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, we discussed whether apps for cats encourage playtime or whether they’re a bad idea, on Tuesday, we featured an elevated food bowl, on Wednesday, we announced the 3rd annual Tortoiseshell Cat Appreciation Day, on Thursday, we featured a high-sided litter box, and on Friday, we paid tribute to Dorjee Purr-ba.

  1. I love all that extra attention. The only thing that can get bothersome, but is still too cute to stop, is how Miss Kiki wakes me up, around 4:00, in the mornings licking my face. Sometimes I just put the blankets over my face to stop her so I can go back to sleep for a little while.
