I’ve never understood complaints about a cat being too “clingy.” Ruby was my “velcro cat.” If she had had her way, she would have been glued to me 24/7 – and I treasured every moment and would give anything to have more of that. Honestly, I can’t really imagine that a cat wanting my attention would ever bother me, but there may be situations when a cat parent might need a little distance. I love all that extra attention. The only thing that can get bothersome, but is still too cute to stop, is how Miss Kiki wakes me up, around 4:00, in the mornings licking my face. Sometimes I just put the blankets over my face to stop her so I can go back to sleep for a little while.
